APEGBC 2009 Award Nomination – Nanoose Green Shores

Chatwin Engineering has been selected as a finalist for the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia (APEGBC) 2009 Environmental Awards in the Design, Construction and Monitoring Phase for the Green Shores project!   Only three finalists are chosen from each category. 

Winners will be notified by September 2009 and awards will be presented during the APEGBC Annual Conference in October.

In 2000 Chatwin Engineering won the Business Excellence Award in the category of Professional Business of the Year.

These awards are sponsored by the Business Examiner and include companies from Vancouver Island.

Edgewood Treatment Centre Receives City of Nanaimo’s 2009 Green Nanaimo Award

From 2007-2008 Chatwin’s Environmental Team worked on and completed a project for the internationally renowned Edgewood Treatment Centre in Nanaimo.

Civil Engineering and Environmental team up to win the 2009 Sterling Award For Environmental Sustainability

Thank you to the Nanaimo Chamber of Commerce for awarding Chatwin Engineering the Sterling Award.

Thanks also to Nanoose First Nations in choosing us for their Environmental and Engineering services for their Green Shore Project.

In the winter of 2008, Chatwin Engineering completed one of the first Green Shore projects in the province and the first in the Regional District of Nanaimo, on the Snaw’naw’as Reserve campground located immediately north of the Town of Lantzville.

Chatwin Engineering wins Award of Excellence in the Masonry Design Awards

In October 2008, Chatwin Engineering’s Building Science Division won the Masonry Design Award for their Swallows Landing Project in Victoria.

This award is given out by the Masonry Institute of British Columbia.
