First Nations – Hiring Policy

For the past 20 years, we have had a policy of giving priority to hire indigenous people.

Chatwin Engineering is committed to working with their First Nations clients to achieve their goals of providing economic opportunity and employment to their people. As such, Chatwin Engineering has a policy of hiring qualified First Nations employees. In the past, we have hired technical staff, office administrators, and survey assistants for many of our projects.

We recently completed a Traditional Marine Use Study in which we hired 10 First Nation researchers to assist us on our project. These researchers received training which will be of assistance to them in obtaining future employment.

Chatwin Engineering has also had the benefit of First Nations members on their Board of Directors.
