Dredging and Habitat Compensation Project 2011

Chatwin's Environmental Services Division was retained by the prime contractor, Ruskin Construction Ltd., to complete Environmental Monitoring Services for dredging and habitat compensation works for the Victoria Harbour Authority at the Ogden Point Cruise Ship Terminal.

The purpose of daily monitoring was to ensure that the work was carried out in accordance with the project's Environmental Management Plan completed by Golder Associates and the Fisheries and Oceans Authorization for the project.  Environmental services included the completion of task-specific Environmental Protection Plan, water quality monitoring and daily on-site monitoring and reporting.
